Our portrait photography sessions truly an adventure. Enjoy an intimate and special experience with your next family photo shoot. Photographed candidly and naturally, your next portrait will capture true lifestyle and personality.
Family portrait in the Pine Forrest
Step 1. Pre-portrait consultation:
A photographer for your session will speak to you about your portrait session. Pre-portrait consultations are held via phone or Skype. You can also elect for a personal meeting. Clients can find out about products on offer before their family shoot.
During the consult, we will discuss with you some options on what to wear to your portraits. A location and time for your session will be locked in and payment options discussed.
Step 2. The portrait shoot:
Traditional/Styles sessions for families are up to an hour long (obviously this depends on your kids). Documentary/Lifestyle portrait sessions are up to 2 hours in duration. The experience is fun, rich and vibrant.
Please be yourself with no need to stress out as we are very patient. Kids especially can feel stressful vibes and this could make things difficult for the photo shoot.
A portrait with Dezire Studios will be candid and natural. It will capture your lifestyle and personality. We recommend you arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your session time to help children adjust to the environment.
Step 3. First, sneak peek:
The first 48 hours
A sneak preview of your photo session will be shared withing 48 hours. A social media link will be sent, which can be shared with family and friends.
Images posted online are generally proof standard only and copyright restrictions apply for downloading and printing.
Step 4. Preview and ordering:
21 days
A full preview of you photographs is available within 3 weeks of your portrait sitting. At the viewing, you will re-live your family photo shoot and finalise which photographs will make up your order.
Our stylish, interactive presentation includes a virtual preview software. View images as if finished prints in your home. Finalise your purchase with complete confidence.
A selection of 35 -50 images will be shown to help you purchase a custom wall print. A preview of 100-150 images will be displayed for album purchases. A pre-designed version of your album will assist your order.
Step 5. Collecting your order:
28 days
Placing the bulk of your order at the preview session will ensure there are no delays in collecting your order. Framed print, albums and digital collections are to be picked up together. If there is no delays in stock from our suppliers your complete order should be ready for collection within 4-6 weeks from the time you placed the order.
An online gallery will be available to your family for 3 days after your preview session. The extended family order will be ready for collection when your order is ready.
Step 6. Online options and downloads:
Once your completed order from the portrait photography session has been collected, clients that have ordered digital version will be given a code to download the high-resolution version. This code can be shared with family and friends. The standard gallery is available for 3 months online. Online orders can still be placed during this time.
