Wedding day coverage – A documentary style
Wedding day coverage starts with the bridal preparations. Photography of the Bridal preparations has been an important part of the wedding day photography for many decades.
In the earlier days, photographs of the bridal preparations was a very formal occasion with many posed photographs with the Bride & Grooms parents and family.
Although the formal side is still important, our photography studio focuses on documenting the significant events and emotions of the Bride and groom during their final preparations for the big event.
Brides coverage
For the girls, this is a quite a magical lasting experience and generally we spend the last 1.5 hours with girls prior to the ceremony.
Grooms coverage
For the guys, coverage is more concise and also optional. 30 minutes of photographic coverage of the groomsmen preparation is usually sufficient.
Logistically, the groomsmen coverage will take place prior to the bridesmaids, and an allowance of travel time between the two locations will need to be taken into account when planning your timeline.
Enough time for Photographs
For a more enjoyable wedding experience, plan a relaxed, generous time frame throughout the day. At many weddings, couples leave too little time for hugs and kisses with the guests, family photos, and bridal party photos after the ceremony.
A timeline that is not crammed or rushed will allow you to treasure quality time with each other on this once in a lifetime day. Family and friends will have a more memorable experience, and we won’t have to be pushy in an effort to complete all the required tasks. With a relaxed timeframe, we can add more creativity in producing beautiful wedding photos for you.

The Perfect time of day
The timing on the Wedding day is ultra important. Bridal photos at sundown are a beautiful and magical experience. This time of day, known as the golden hour, produces beautiful light and is perfect for creating stunning bridal portraits. Where possible, planning your wedding day to incorporate even just a touch of this golden hour will provide amazing images.
Standard Wedding coverage
Standard coverage concludes at the beginning of the reception. There are options to have exclusive coverage of the groomsmen preparations and comprehensive coverage of the reception.
If your day is planned differently, we are happy to adjust to cater directly to your needs.
