Ashley & Phil’s wedding
Ashley and Phil had hired us for their Wedding at Caversham house in the Swan Valley http://www.cavershamhouse.com.au/. The day had been meticulously planned so that everything would fall into place, and as it turned out it did – Well almost. The day was beautiful the light fantastic and we were looking forward to a pleasant day, the only small hiccup is that my wife who was assisting me for the day had become extremely unwell that morning and so I spent a couple of nervous hours early searching for an available and capable assistant. Luckily for me my friend Henry http://henryphotoblog.com/ was the answer to my call and was willing to rearrange his schedule to help me out. Thanks again Henry.
We arrived at the Brides home and photographed her candidly as herself and the girls got themselves prepared for the big day. When they were done we raced off to the ceremony at Caversham house and photographed the boys anxiously waiting. The Ceremony was beautiful and many precious moments were shared by all who attended. family had visited from far and wide including Europe and the UK and they were not let down by the lavish ceremony and reception that followed in the Caversham Marquee, which add some extra special touches added by a friend of Ashley’s. And it had to be done right – Ashley is an interior decorator and a talented one at that, so every detail needed to be spot on. After all the usual candid celebrations, we held a Bridal party photographic session in the beautiful Caversham grounds. this location is perfect for Wedding Photography and really offers a lot to couples that marry there. as the sun began to set we decided to get a few quick pics in the fields and vineyards across the road. an the light turned on a bit of a show for us. Finally we entered into the reception and completed some photos with the families and guest before Ashley and Phil enjoyed the rest of their evening in the beautifully decorated marquee.
