Booking Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern all Dezire Studios portrait bookings
Booking Information:
This booking with Dezire Studios includes a Portrait session and a Viewing session plus the minimum commitment of the purchase of either a 20×16 ‘StyleArt’ Wall print or one Designer album. The session fee includes the Portrait session and Viewing session. Prints, Albums and Digital files are sold separately.
Booking Fee:
The payment of the initial deposit of $175 confirms the booking with Dezire Studios for the purchased session. All promotional and discounted sessions must include the purchase value as a deposit to secure the booking. This booking fee is and is non-refundable and is deducted from the total package price. In the event of a cancellation where a promotional voucher is used the voucher will be forfeited.
Payment arrangements:
We agree to the payment type and method indicated by us in the previous booking form.We understand that failure to make the agreed payment according to our agreement will lead to cancellation of services. Failure to comply with these requirements may lead to a breach of contract and services & products may be withdrawn and fees applied.
Direct debit/credit card Flexi-payment options may be handled by a third party company, and an application form will need to be filled in.A one off $30 account setup fee is required.The minimal monthly installment required is $120 and will be deducted on the specified date.
Copyright:
The Copyright of all photographs taken from the Portrait session is owned by Dezire Studios. Dezire Studios reserves the right to use any image or video from your Portraits for industry competitions and as required for subsequent usage and for reasonable general promotional advertising for the Studio.The usage for any other purpose is to be re- negotiated between the parties and requires specific permission. Original files and edited files are available as collections for purchase.
The original digital images/ negatives and video files remain the property of Dezire Studios and after a period of five years from may be purchased for a fee nominated by the studio. Adequate measures to backup and archive your files are made during that five years.
Photographer:
The session will be Photographed or filmed by the assigned Photographer from Dezire Studios. Should any personal injury, family tragedy, or any other circumstance prevent the assigned Photographer from being available to photograph on the booked date an equivalent replacement will be provided or the session will be rescheduled
Negatives/digital files:
Every precaution to prevent image or video files captured from the session from being damaged or disappearing on the day. Certain elements beyond our control may prevent us from fulfilling in whole or in part this section of the agreement. It is agreed that the liability of the Studio shall be limited to be a refund of any money paid under this agreement, which shall be in full & final satisfaction of any damage or loss suffered.
